Ebooks and eAudiobooks will automatically expire after their lending period is up. But if you notice there is a waiting list or wish to return your e-titles early, you can do so. The method for returning an eBook depends on what kind of ereader you are using and what type of book you have checked out.

Libby: If you are reading on an Android device or iPhone/iPad using the Libby App, go to the Loans page on your Shelf and tap Manage Loan. There you will see the option to return early. For Kindle books, visit www.amazon.com and go to "Manage Your Content and Devices." The "Actions" drop down next to a title will allow you to return. Here is a link to complete instructions for all devices from the OverDrive Help page.

Hoopla titles do not need to be returned early because there are no waiting lists for those titles. They will automatically expire after 21 days. Returning a hoopla title early will not allow you to borrow in excess of 10 titles per month.
